Photos: Muse @ Air Canada Centre

Performing in support of their brand new full-length record Drones, England's Muse toured through Toronto's Air Canada Centre on Saturday, January 16th, 2015. I was on site photographing the show along with some meet & greets for Edge 102.1 and let me tell you... the night was MASSIVE. Every moment about Muse's live show is grand and done to the nines. From flying drones to spinning stages with a digital floor, it doesn't get much bigger than a Muse show.

Photographing the set was a bit complicated. We (the photographers) weren't positioned in the photo pit for this show, no soundboard either. We were set up on the stairs in the 100 section of the ACC, so it was all about your long range shots that night. It was a good opportunity to catch some wide angle photos of the entire stage, which was a sight to see. Muse frontman Matt Bellamy made good use of the stage as well, running around from side to side giving us just enough attention to capture some good shots of him. All in all, it was a fantastic set, and seeing drones fly around is just straight up cool. Were they real drones? I don't know. But they resembled something you'd see in The War of The Worlds movie, shining spotlights down on fans, looking to suck their souls. It was epic.
