News: Bestival Toronto Announces 2016 Headliners

Bestival's inaugural year in Toronto was without a doubt a success, but everyone that attended dealt with the obvious struggle of getting back and forth from the island. In 2016 we see the festival returning and thankfully it’s on the mainland in Toronto’s east end at Woodbine Park (for more info on that read our post here).

Let's get to the point of this post though... and it's to announce that Bestival has finally released their 2016 headliners, which are Tame Impala and The Cure. Here's some official words from the festival itself:

The Bestival crew are super-excited to unveil our heavyweight headliners set to sound-track our second transatlantic adventure, when our award-winning global music and arts festival returns to Canada this June 11th & 12th 2016 at Woodbine Park, Toronto.

Bestival curator Rob da Bank says: “We’re back, and Bestival Toronto is up and running for a second year. With a beautiful new site, and so much love emanating from Toronto we needed some big headliners, and The Cure and Tame Impala more than fit the bill; two of the best live acts I’ve ever seen from totally different eras. It’s on. See you in T-Dot!”
