Photos: Metric @ Air Canada Centre

Metric brought their Lights on the Horizon tour (w/ Death Cab For Cutie) to Air Canada Centre on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2016 and boy did they take the city by storm (not to forget the literal ice storm that was happening outside the ACC walls).

I had the luxury of photographing them at Danforth Music Hall (photos here) right after the release of their latest album Pagans in Vegas (2015) and that show had absolutely NOTHING on this one. Emily Haines and the band brought their live show to another level on Wednesday night, playing all their hits including "Help I'm Alive", "Combat Baby", "Youth Without Youth", "Breathing Underwater" and sounded better than I ever expected. It was a solid night and they made their Canadian fans proud. During the encore they also announced they were going to be playing this years Wayhome festival, which is some rad news to close out the night.
