TBT: Twenty One Pilots @ The Opera House

Who would've thought that Columbus, Ohio duo Twenty One Pilots would be blowing up Top 40 radio and selling out massive arenas across North America? I sure as hell didn't think they would when I photographed them two years ago. That's not to discredit them as artists, I think they're amazing and what they've become is inspiring to say the least. They're unconventional and their music is a mixed bag of tricks with influences from indie rock, hip-hop and even electronic music. Usually unique acts like this (doing things differently) don't make it to masses. Thankfully, this wasn't the case with Twenty One Pilots.

This weeks Throwback Thursday is from their show back in 2014 in Toronto when they were only performing at The Opera House. This summer I'll hopefully have another chance to shoot them when they return on June 7th bringing their EMØTIØNAL RØADSHØW to Molson Canadian Amphitheatre.
