Photos: The Strumbellas @ Supercrawl 2016

One of my favourite bands that I've ever covered on Beyond The Watch has got to be Lindsay Ontario's The Strumbellas. Over the years I've interviewed them in the back alley behind the Horseshoe Tavern (watch it here) to on stage at The Dakota Tavern in the frigid winter during their residency (watch it here) and as of last weekend, Dear Rouge's trailer at Hamilton's Supercrawl for Collective Arts Brewery. I've also photographed them more times than I can remember, but nothing has been as rewarding as seeing them close out such a big night in Hamilton – my hometown.

The Strumbellas are Juno winners and deserve every ounce of their success. They performed flawlessly on stage with what felt like all of Hamilton singing along to every single song they performed. I've got nothing but love for this eclectic bunch and can't wait for my next opportunity to see them again.
