Arcade Fire Create Infinite Memories at Air Canada Centre

Canadian indie rock icons Arcade Fire brought their current North American tour supporting their latest album Everything Now (via Sony Music) to Toronto last week. The band played their entire set in a boxing ring on the floor of the Air Canada Centre. They even came out on a live video feed announcing them as the star fighters of the night and introducing all their accolades like Grammy and Juno wins to hype them up as if they were about to go into battle.

Like all Arcade Fire sets, it was unique, special, and unforgettable. They’re a band that will go down in Canadian history and they don’t really perform bad sets and they don’t really make bad music. As I stood amongst the hundreds of fans on the floor surrounding the ring, we shared moment after moment, reveling in their tracks that will be infinitely burned into my memories as a wicked night of music with one the best bands in the world. Arcade Fire are getting better with age like a fine wine and I can’t wait to see where they end up next.

Check out all the photos from their set above.
