Photos: Beach Slang at The Opera House

Philadelphia's Beach Slang recently toured through Toronto with Minus The Bear and I was lucky enough to catch their set. I had been meaning to witness their live show for a while now, but always seemed to be out of the city when they were here. I've been psyched on their studio album A Loud Bash of Teenage Feelings but GOD DAMN!, their live show was even better than I imagined. The raw energy and emotion that translated through their stage presence was magical and front man James Alex's comedic on-stage antics and expressive personality really shined through to be the highlight of the show.
