In Flames Set Toronto Ablaze at Danforth Music Hall

Legendary Swedish metal outfit In Flames continued their Canadian rampage, touring through Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall with Vended, Orbit Culture, and Fit For An Autopsy. The influential and prolific metallers put on a masterclass in melodic death metal, proving to doubters that they are still at the top of their game. With a nonstop bombastic set spanning their entire discography, the show didn’t let up from start to end. What else can you expect when a wall of death is requested from the band before they even play a note?

In Flames graced old and new fans with two brand new tracks on the setlist, “The Great Deceiver” and “State of Slow Decay, bringing back old-school In Flames vibes but doused with a dark new energy. We’re stoked to hear the band’s sound return to form on these latest releases, and knowing that the new album is based on the concept of time, we’re ALL IN. In Flames are currently on tour, building anticipation for their fourteenth studio album, “Foregone, set to release on February 2023 via Nuclear Blast.

We hadn't received a full dose of In Flames in a headlining capacity since 2019, and the show did not disappoint. Check out all the photos from the night and the setlist below.
