Slow Hollows Share New Single "Old Yeller"

After a three-year break, Slow Hollows makes a striking comeback with a fresh perspective, reintroducing themselves as a solo project helmed by songwriter Austin Feinstein. Despite the amicable disbandment in 2020, Feinstein, now 25, never ceased creating music. As he delved deeper into new compositions, the idea of continuing as Slow Hollows became increasingly apparent.

"Old Yeller," their latest single and video, stands in stark contrast to their previous work, spotlighting Feinstein's raw songwriting prowess with minimalistic instrumentation of an acoustic guitar, his vocals, and subtle atmospherics. Reflecting on the song's inspiration, Feinstein draws a parallel between the lyrics and the weariness of an aged vacuum cleaner, conveying a sense of repetition and resignation.
