The Underachievers Release New Single "Have Nots"
Brooklyn’s very own The Underachievers are back with another fire track, "Have Nots," following up their recent release of "Megatron"—their first new music in five years. Known for blending East Coast grit with psychedelic rap and conscious lyricism, the duo (Issa Gold and AKTHESAVIOR) serve up another heavy-hitting banger. Produced by Issa Gold himself, "Have Nots" floats over a hypnotic beat while delivering their signature mix of introspective bars and energetic flow. Listen to it below:
For fans of The Underachievers, this moment is huge. The duo has been carving out their lane since 2011, gaining respect for their unique sound and chart-topping projects like Evermore: The Art of Duality, which landed them in the top 10 on the Billboard US Rap and R&B/Hip Hop Album charts. They've also worked with the likes of Flatbush Zombies and toured with Denzel Curry, Dillon Cooper, and Pouya. "Have Nots" is just a taste of what’s to come, as it continues their rollout of singles leading up to their highly anticipated project set to drop in January 2025.
In the meantime, The Underachievers have been anything but quiet. They’re set to reunite with Flatbush Zombies for a special Clockwork Indigo 10th Anniversary Show at The Novo in L.A. on October 16th. Plus, they recently teased "Have Nots" with an epic freestyle on 'On The Radar,' racking up thousands of likes from fans hungry for more.
Keep your eyes on The Underachievers—they're building up serious momentum heading into 2025.
