Better Lovers Release Final Preview Track "Love As An Act Of Rebellion" Ahead of Debut Album
Better Lovers have dropped a new music video for "Love As An Act Of Rebellion," the final preview from their debut album Highly Irresponsible, set to release this Friday, Oct. 25, via SharpTone Records.
“Here’s one more appetizer before the Highly Irresponsible main course is served this Friday,” says guitarist Jordan Buckley, comparing the track to a starter dish. “Some crispy green beans before your Buddha’s Fest… ‘Love As An Act of Rebellion’ is now out everywhere. Learn the words, answer The Knock™️!”
Vocalist Greg Puciato adds,
“This song has become one of my personal top three or four on the record. It starts with frenetic desperation and ends with an uneasy acceptance. It’s a full course meal in one song. If I had to show people one song off of the record, I think this would be the one.”
The band has already teased the album with three pre-release singles: "At All Times," praised as a "power ballad for the modern age"; "A White Horse Covered in Blood," blending thrash metal and hardcore; and "Future Myopia," which has been described as "another wide-scope crusher."
With Highly Irresponsible dropping this week, pre-orders for the album, including limited-edition vinyl, CDs, and digital pre-saves, are available HERE. The band embarks on their first North American tour starting Nov. 3, followed by a U.K. tour in January.
