Toronto punk powerhouses PUP are back with their first new music in two years! Fresh off the success of their 2022 album The Unraveling of PUPTHEBAND, the band has released “Paranoid,” a fiery track produced by John Congleton. Vocalist Stefan Babcock describes the song as a mix of raw emotion and humour, highlighting a breakdown featuring a quirky nod to “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.”

The single arrives just in time to celebrate PUP’s upcoming arena tour with Sum 41, kicking off tomorrow. Accompanying the track is a must-watch music video directed by long-time collaborator Jeremy Schaulin-Rioux. The video is a hilarious homage to rock band merch and the unsung heroes behind the merch table, brought to life with the help of real PUP fans.

Don’t miss the video below, and keep an eye out for more from PUP this year!
