Photos: Black Pistol Fire @ Lee's Palace

Canadian rock duo Black Pistol Fire (now residing in Austin, Texas) tore through Toronto's Lee's Palace opening up for Hanni El Khatib on Saturday, April 4th.

Kevin McKeown (Guitar/Vocals) ignited the venue with his extraordinary guitar playing and his uncanny ability to never stand still. It's not an easy feat for a duo to amass that level of attention at Lee's, but what can you expect when Kevin deviated from the stage, balancing on the rickety bar like structure where people put their drinks on to jumping into the crowd dazzling fans with his fretboard wizardry. There was no lack of energy in the venue on Saturday night, which left fans screaming for more before the headliner even came out. Black Pistol Fire did exactly what they planned on doing and that was to blow the minds of their now forgotten hometown fans (we get to rag on them for leaving us, don't we?).
