Sweet Pill Release New Acoustic Version of “Cut” From Forthcoming EP: Unraveled
Sweet Pill is showing off their softer side. The Philly-based band is reimagining six of their fan-favourite songs in a new light. This forthcoming acoustic collection reimagines some of the band's most beloved tracks, offering fans an intimate and stripped-down perspective on their dynamic sound.
The full EP, releasing January 31, will also feature new versions of "Dog Song," High Hopes," "Star Child," "Chewed Up," and "Red String."
Sweet Pill's Zayna Youssef shares:
"To wrap up this era of Sweet Pill and before we start the next one, we decided to share and reimagine these songs one last time. Through these last two years, we've been constantly performing these songs from "Where The Heart Is" LP and "Starchild" EP and they have continually morphed and changed. In the "Unraveled" EP we show the true vulnerability these songs have. For me personally, I go out of my comfort zone and I don't rely too much on belting. I don't do that often and I tend to not be so confident with my falsetto and softer bits. But we all pushed ourselves and created something you may not expect from Sweet Pill. I learned so much from this and my ability. I can't wait to apply it to LP 2 and show the world just how versatile Sweet Pill can be."
