Beyond The Watch’s Best Concert Photos of 2024

Photo(s): Steve St. Jean

2024 was an incredible year for live music in Toronto. From Soul Glo at The Concert Hall to MJ Lenderman & The Wind at Lee's Palace, the city saw no shortage of creative talent and diverse musical styles.

Last year, I noted that it was far from Beyond The Watch's busiest or most active year, but it was a return to form. This year, I’ve continued my pursuit to capture the best concert photos in the city, and I am happy to say that I have never been more inspired to keep shooting and stopping time this past year as Beyond The Watch’s comeback continues at a slow but steady pace.

The following photos are some of my favourite concert photos of the year, and I'm stoked to share some of these memories with you to recap the year. Some highlights include shots from Crosses mesmerizing set at History (prints for sale here), the jump shot of Soul Glo’s Pierce Jordan, a portrait of Ducks Ltd. for Collective Arts at Sonic Boom, and getting the opportunity to hang with the guys in Hollerado to capture their sound check, pre-show hang, and live set at History.

Thank you to all the media partners, publicists, and fellow photographers we've worked with this past year. I'm looking forward to working with you all again in 2025. Check out all our favourite shots from the year below.

All photography by Steve St. Jean captured on a Nikon Z8 Mirrorless Camera using a range of Nikkor and Sigma lenses.
